Description

The inspirational story of Doug McLain's rehabilitation from a devastating spinal cord injury suffered from a motorcycle accident. Doug received treatment at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. Others who suffered spinal injuries from gun shots are also featured. At the time of his injury, Doug suffered paralysis in his legs and the prognosis was not hopeful. I documented Doug's treatment and progress for four months. We became friends in the process and are still good friends. His is a story of struggle, perseverance and resilience.
